The game runs great on silicon Macs which that iMac is. Apple will probably be updating them soon though as they have the original M1 chip which is 3 years old now. I would hold off for a month or so.
If your current Mac is an Intel machine you can't compare to the silicon Macs. The silicon Macs are game changers and perform amazingly.
