Where: iCloud Drive ▸ Documents ▸ Electronic Arts ▸ The Sims 4
Thanks. Your problem is iCloud Drive. You need to disable it and store your Documents locally on your Mac. Instructions here - https://bluebellflora.com/2017/02/06/sims-3-and-sims-4-not-loading-save-games/

That seems like it helped, however now all of my mods/CC were removed from the list. I did the instructions you told me and documents are not stored locally. None of them are showing up anymore?- Bluebellflora6 years agoHero+@EthanKFox
My instructions were to make sure they ARE stored locally. If you have iCloud Drive set up to store your Documents folder in the cloud your game will not see it.- 6 years ago
@Bluebellflora
Yes, they are now stored locally. However, it seems like Electronic Arts is a separate folder from Documents now (photo located below). When I click the "separate" Electronic Arts > TS4 > Mods, there's nothing there. However when I go Documents > Electronic Arts > TS4 > Mods, they're there. Although they are located there, all of my CCs and mods were removed from the lists in-game. Along with this, it does not show my previous games - basically seems like I haven't played or done anything, which I have.

Okay so I have been having this problem for a very long time now. I have done a lot of research but for some reason I cannot get my mods folder back. I have tried everything. I wanna be able to get my mods back. nothing has worked.

Are CC/Mods enabled in the game options?
Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*Mods*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
