Hey! I was also having this problem. I figured out how to fix it. Go to system preferences, Apple ID, iCloud, then click iCloud Drive options..., and uncheck the box that says Desktop & Documents Folders. This will make you a new folder on your computer that says Documents. Instead of your documents automatically being uploaded to iCloud. So once you uncheck the box click done/save, and open finder and move your EA folder from your old iCloud folder to your documents folder. And when you load up the game it won't make a new one again in your iCloud it'll now use the one in the documents folder. I hope this helped! 🙂
I accidentlly moved all my sims files out into my iCloud Drive. I have done lots of research and problem solving and I have gotten my saved games, mods, and all of my custom content back in the game, but I still can't figure out how to get my library back. I have found all of the files for my library on my laptop and have them in my tray folder, but still every time I open my game they are missing! I have updated and repaired my game and they still aren't there. Anyone know what to do?

What is the exact file path of the Tray folder? Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the Tray folder clearly showing the file path.
