Resize objects on Mac (2023)

Hi,

I'm playing the Sims 4 on my MacbookAir, but I can't resize any items in build mode.

I've tried all the suggestions from this link https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/816221/mac-resizing-objects, tried every key combination with or without cheats enabled (incl. bb.moveobjects).

Is there anyone else who has this problem or anyone who knows how to solve it?

Thanks 🙂

    Yes thanks 🙂

Try adding a UK/US keyboard layout in System Preferences/Settings > Keyboard > Text Input > Edit and add the keyboard. You should then be able to use the two keys next to the P to size up and down. You don't need to enter any cheats to make it work.

Thank you very much! It works, but I do have to disable the Belgian keyboard (it also works pressing the fn-button, that one allows you to switch between keyboards).

If you toggle the "Show input in menu bar" option in the Keyboard settings it will add a little keyboard icon in the top right menu bar for easy switching too 🙂
