[S] Game gets laggy everytime it is raining

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.95.207.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs, all game packs except Werewolves. Stuff packs: Cool Kitchen, Fitness, Kids Room, Luxury Party, Perfect Patio, Romantic Garden, Spooky, Toddler, Laundry Day, Vintage Glamour, Paranormal, Moschino, Bowling Night, Nifty Knitting, Movie Hangout, Tiny Living. Kits: Throwback Fit, Courtyard Oasis, Bust The Dust, Blooming Rooms, Carnaval Streetwear, Country Kitchen, Decor to the Max, Desert Luxe, Industrial Loft.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a rainy weather.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game gets laggy.
What do you expect to see? The game to work as usual, without lags.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Hello,

I am not quite sure if this should be considered as a bug or a technical issue, currently I have decided to post it as a bug. Whenever there is a rainy weather in my game, the game starts working much slower / laggy. This has been happening for a very long time so I do not know the exact moment it started.

    Thanks. Update Big Sur to the last release, 11.7.4, or update to the current OS, Ventura, and see if that helps. Your hardware should be able to handle Seasons well. Lower spec. hardware can struggle with the weather effects.

    Try playing in windowed mode too and turn on vertical sync.

    @Bluebellflora Hello again, sorry for my late response, I have not been able to test the game for a while. After updating to the current OS, I can say that the situation got better, but there is still a lag when it is raining. At least it is not that bad as before 🙂 Thank you for your help (Honestly, I did not try windowed mode since it is no fun for me playing the game that way, but if you wish me to test it, I will).
