Save disappeared after updating
Just updated my game and my whole saves have disappeared it’s launched the game as if it’s new saying welcome to this expansion etc and now asking what month I want to play in … I still have the save...

Yeah I’ve got loads of room on my Mac so not sure what the problem is ☹️
Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
