When you installed the game, and Origin, you would have been prompted to allow permission for the apps to access various folders on your Mac. Did you allow or disallow these?

Make sure Origin has access to Removable Drives (if your game is installed externally) and The Sims 4 has access to Removable Drives and the Documents folder. - 3 years ago@Bluebellflora IT WORKED THANK YOU!’
