Ok. Have you moved your Sims 4 folder to an external drive by using a symlink?
If not, move the whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop and then try to launch the game - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163- @Bluebellflora it opened !! so i can move my mods and my saves back into the new folder right?

I would start with your saves, one at a time, testing after adding each one to see if the game launches. Don't save when you quit. If they load ok then you can add your mods back in using the 50/50 method 🙂
