But yes, thank you, moving the entire Sims 4 folder onto my desktop worked. I've been able to replace all my saves and the tray and the crash has not repeated. I've put some mods back in so far, but not all - going slow trying to figure out if any of them caused the crash. But it's odd though, since they were running fine and had no errors the day before; then after adding nothing and updating nothing suddenly it wouldn't open. If I can't find a mod that caused the game to stop opening... then I guess just bad luck and fingers crossed it doesn't happen again?
@PipMenace dude ik u said this a while ago but im so glad I found u say this bc u just helped me sm w my sims bc It wasn't working and after I did what u said u did it now works
