Sims 4 freezing, have to Force Quit

Hi, since sunday I'm having troubles with my Sims 4.
I tried everything, move  EA Folder, move otions.ini, unninstall and reinstall Origin and game, update my Mac OS to 10.14.6 deactivate mods or anything else,  and I don't even have any mods.
It can crash anywhere, while I'm creating a sim or during gameplay. It just freeze to a point where I need to Force Quit the game. It's driving me crazy during quarantine.

If someone knows what can I do please help me!

  • My Sims 4 started to crash suddently today (freezes to the point i have to force quit). I've already uninstalled the game and deleted all files i could find. I reinstalled it and the problem persisted. After seeing this post I also updated my OS to 10.14.6 Mojave and it still crashing randomly....

  • @laralud

I've split your post out of the thread you posted in as it is very specific to 2012 model Macs with Intel HD 4000 chips not being up to date.

Can you please create a new administrator account on your Mac and see if you can launch the game in that account?
  • @laralud the same thing was happening to me. I updated to Mac: OS Catalina 10.15.4 and haven't had a crash since
