Sims 4 game not opening

so i created a symbolic link for my game and when i created it i went to go open the game and it open right but wouldn’t go into the loading screen it would just be there and it would say unresponsive but it wouldn’t crash but i also had my sims 3 game in the symbolic link and it would open and would let me play it and i have no idea why it won’t open for my sims 4.

That is not related to the symbolic link. Follow the instructions to create a new Sims 4 folder as the issue will be in your user data https://bluebellflora.com/saving-your-sims-4-folder-to-an-external-drive/

@Bluebellflora Hi it's been a few months since i tried it and i reversed the symbolic link again and says application not responding but when I play the sims 3 it works perfectly so idk what is the issues.

Did you try the new Sims 4 folder? Reversing the symbolic link has nothing to do with trying a new clean game which is what you need to do.
