- @Bluebellflora Hi it's been a few months since i tried it and i reversed the symbolic link again and says application not responding but when I play the sims 3 it works perfectly so idk what is the issues.

Did you try the new Sims 4 folder? Reversing the symbolic link has nothing to do with trying a new clean game which is what you need to do.
