sims 4 get to work and parenthood are stuck on finalizing

a few days ago my sims 4 get to work expansion stopped working so i saved and exited the same hoping that would solve it, and of course it didn't. so then i noticed it was finalizing, this has happen...

Ok, let's do a search for it. Please Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:

find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

okay so i ended up reinstalling EVERYTHING, the base games, all my expansions and i deleted all CC and mods. it worked but sims still is not in the first applications folder, but it is in the second one. im not sure if this will cause any problems but ya

    It won't 🙂 Doing the search I posted in Terminal would have found the location of it without the need to uninstall everything.
