Merged your bug report into this ongoing thread on the issue for your specific Mac. This issue appeared to have been fixed, sadly it's either back or something has triggered it to happen more often again.

Did this happen after a game update or OS update? Or has it always happened and is happening more frequently recently?
@Bluebellflora it happened right from day one when i installed it - no OS updates recently

I'm not asking for pictures, I'm asking for the full specifications of your Mac, as detailed in the link in my previous post. You may not think it relevant but I promise you it is 🙂 Could you also please attach the Config.log file from your Sims 4 folder to a post here.
