sims 4 keeps crashing!

Okay so i have a macbook air thats up to date on all my updates and i purchased the sims 4 game off of origin maybe a month or two ago and got addicted and built houses and today i opened up the game and i saw that all the houses i had built were gone and all the renovations i did to the existing houses were also gone but it wasn't like my game reset cause my population was exactly like i left it last time i played so i decided to rebuild my home but as soon as i drag the outline for a room the program closes and Origin tells me the game quit and i tried restarting origin and everything and im panicking SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ASAP

    ******UPDATE******

    All of the houses seem to have vanished...debating on just restarting my whole game over again...not impressed i did a lot in that town...

    Hi @simslife1372,

    Are you loading the correct saved game? Please check this using the Load game button (the diskette one) located on the top right corner of the main menu.

    yeah i clicked there and tried every single one, i ended up restarting my whole game and loosing all my progress and people ☹️
