Sims 4 Keeps Freezing in CAS no matter what I do

I have literally been having this issue for months on my macbook pro so I have just quit playing the Sims since so far I have had no solution but hopefully somebody can help me. Basically, every time I open the Sims 4 it is fine. However, once I get to CAS, after about 5-15 seconds at most, the entire game freezes. When I click my mouse I can hear the sounds of clicking other things however it will not unfreeze and I am forced to shut the entire game down. I have tried everything from deleting and re-downloading Origin and the Sims 4, deleting all of my CC with no backups, deleting the localthumbache package, taking out the whole Sims 4 folder, nad more. I really just do not know what to do anymore. I do not have this problem with anything else on my Mac, just the Sims 4. Maybe is there something I can do inside the game before I get to CAS? Or if anyone has any other advice at all? Please help!!!!!!

@Bluebellflora I did exactly that as instructed--"vsync". It still is not working. I am slowly getting frustrated. The game used to work perfectly fine. The issue started when I finally decided to use the free build / free real estate cheat code. Soon after, the game started freezing everytime I go to buildmode. The only way to go about it is to force quit. I am using Macbook Air M1 Chip with Sonoma 14.1.1 OS. Are there any known technical issues running lately for the Mac users? I am not using and Mod or Custom Content by the way. I have been searching for answers since yesterday...Discord...Twitch...Youtube...etc. and noone seem to know how to resolve the issue... ☹️

No, no specific issues that people seem to be reporting. At least, not in a vanilla game, plenty in modded games!

Is this happening in all your saves? A good test would be to start a new save and play without the cheat for a while. if it's all fine, enable the cheat and see if the problem starts. I very much doubt such an innocuous cheat could cause an issue but worth testing.

Are you playing in windowed or fullscreen? Try the other option to the one you normally play in and see if it makes a difference.
