sims 4 lags really badly on macbook
so, i downloaded sims 4 last year on my mac, and it lags really much and runs so slow, one click takes an age to load, i can't place furniture correctly etc. i also tried downloading Get To Work but it didn't work, i paid everything but it just made the game worse. iv'e done a cc on my mac and it didn't help either.
i have put all the graphics on low and cleared the caches, it still runs slowly.
i have a MacBook Pro, it's about five years old

I think you have a 2009 MacBook. Please click on the Apple logo then About This Mac then System Report/More Details. What is the Model Identifier?
Your Mac is at the absolute minimum system requirements for the game which is why it is so laggy. The minimum processor is 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo and your NVIDIA graphics are the minimum. The more packs you add to the game the laggier it will get I'm afraid. Adding CC will only make the issue worse ☹️
