Which EA folder are you referring to? Where is it located? Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
The EA folder I mentioned is located on my computer, under my Documents folder. My Mac is a Mac Pro (late 2011), which is currently operating on macOS Sierra
Can you please post the complete specs as asked for in the link. 2011 Macs do not support Metal so have to run the Legacy Edition of the game. However the Mac Pro can be an exception based on your exact model.
