Sims 4 Not Launching from EA App

Sims 4 does not launch from EA App.

Here is what I have already tried

-updated game

-repaired game

-moved mods folder out

-made sure EA wasn't running in background

-Deleted all mods

-Deleted the content of the recommended cache folders (not the folders themselves)

-Uninstalled all sims 4 content and reinstalled it.

I run my game on a Mac and play via external hard rive. I have done this for months now. Thursday night I played perfectly fine and when I tried to play again on Friday it has no worked for me. I open the EA app and when I go to launch the game. The icon bounces on my desktop, the rainbow wheel comes up and then stops. Next thing that happens is the EA app returns to my screen. I don't know what else to do rn.
