Sims 4 not responding when cc is installed after EA app switch

Hi there, I've been having an issue with the EA app since switching from origin in which the sims 4 will not respond once launched if any CC is installed. I've played around with adding in varying ty...

EA App and Origin have no bearing at all on Mods.

Move your Mods folder to the desktop or rename it. Trash the localthumbcache.package file then launch the game. Does it successfully load and can you play without any of the Mods? From what you've described yes but please do these steps. Don't save but simply quit the game. Let me know how you get on.

Good to note. When I remove all mods everything launches just fine. I've tried the 50/50 method down to putting just one file in my mods folder and regardless of which file it is, it stops the game from responding.

        I don’t know who Harrie is. Please humour me and try a piece of Peacy’s CC as from personal experience I know it works. You haven’t added any files from your usual Sims 4 folder to the new one the game has created have you?
