What do you mean by "it just does the noise"?
I also moved all of my mods out of the folder and tried it again to see if it was my mods but it still wasn’t working after that.

Can you please move the whole Mods folder to the desktop AND trash the localthumbcache.package file which is also in the Sims 4 folder. Then try again.That didn’t work
