Sims 4 on 16 inch MacBook Pro

Hoping someone will be able to advise. I am looking to buy a new MacBook Pro and was wondering if the new 16 inch model would be able to handle Sims 4 with most packs and at high/ultra graphics settings (or at least well without laptop mode)?

I’d be looking to get the i7 6 core processor, 16gb of ram and the Radeon Pro 5500M (8gb) GPU.

If anyone could advise that would be great. Also from what I’ve read elsewhere the i7 is preferable for games.

Yep! You’ll be able to max out everything, it exceeds the recommended requirements. I play with everything oh the highest settings on a 2017 15” with quad-core 3.1 GHz i7, 4Gb AMD Radeon Pro 560 and 16gb RAM with all packs installed and about 5gb CC, some of which is high-poly.

@Bluebellflora Great thanks! So just to check would Ultra settings run smoothly (indoor shadows, high objects, sims etc.?) A lot of questions I know but I want to make sure I can do everything I need including Sims if I'm spending this much money! 🙂

Hi, do you know if this same laptop but with only 4GB of graphic card memory (instead of 8GB) will allow you to play with the highest graphic settings?

I saw this post and got a 16 inch MacBook Pro and the Sims 4 DOES NOT WORK AT ALL on it!!!! Keeps crashing, there’s no floor in build mode. Don’t get this Mac if you want to play the Sims 4
