Sims 4 Quit Unexpectedly Mac

I haven't been able to play Sims 4 for about a year. I thought maybe Origin was the issue, and I hoped the new EA app would remedy this problem, but it hasn't. I downloaded the EA app today and am still getting the "Sims 4 Quit Unexpectedly" message every single time I try to open it. The game does not open at all.

I've tried uninstalling the game, repairing, moving my Sims 4 folder to the desktop, and updating my computer to the latest OS. I'm playing on a 2020 iMac that is updated to macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. Nothing has worked. I've been scouring the help forums for months and nothing helps. Hoping someone can help me!
