So my sims 4 game has reset completely, and its not the first time it has happened.
My problem is now the game will reset ,so I will start over again make a family build a house then I save the game and exit only to find an hour later the game has reset again, whats going on ??
I know I probably won't get my families back but I would at least like to be able to start over.
@Laposha1 Do you have a pc with Windows 10 (I think Win 8 has cloud storage also but not sure)? It is possible onedrive is moving the game user data to the cloud. When this happens the game will reset because the game can't find it in the cloud. You have to turn onedrive off or stop onedrive from copying the user Documents folder. Or just disable onedrive if you don't use the cloud to backup your data. Since Microsoft reneged on unlimited free cloud storage promise I'll keep using my NAS storage thank you very much. I disabled onedrive from starting at boot so I don't get the login screen anymore.
Are there saves in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder? If so when are they dated? Do you have iCloud Drive enabled?
