Hey guys, I play The Sims 4 on my MacBook M1 2020 that I connect (through USB-C to HDMI) to my Acer desktop monitor. I noticed whenever I play the game on my laptop, no issues arise but when I play on my desktop monitor (with the laptop closed down), it's too zoomed in. I have attached an image. If you encountered a similar problem I'm having but were able to figure out how to fix it, I would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

Are you using a 24” monitor?
You don’t have any resolution set in the game options. Set a resolution and see if that helps.

I have a 23.8" monitor. Sorry for not including that.

Thanks. Do you think it's the problem other users have posted here? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/M1-Mac-mini-display-resolution-issues-after-closing-game-in/td-p/12495177 We narrowed it down to 24" monitors being the issue. Did changing the resolution help?
