Hi thank you for this suggestion,

I tried it out and followed your directions and now when I try to load the sims it says "Preparing" and stays at 0%. 

If you have any other suggestions or solutions please let me know!

Ok.

Could you please run the reset tool again then trash the Origin app from your Applications folder. Now empty the trash, restart your Mac, re-download a new copy of Origin and install it.

    Hi thank you so much for the suggestion but I followed the steps twice and both of the times it didn't work. I don't know if theres much else I can do but if you have any other suggestions or advice please let me know!

      Set up a new user account on your Mac, see if that helps..
