Sims 4: Unable to Start Error 135dec40:3fbbecd0:000000064:00000000

Hey - I uninstalled origin/sims a few months ago and just reinstalled today. Can’t seem to open the game as I have an error stating “Sims 4: Unable to Start Error 135dec40:3fbbecd0:000000064:00000000...

    Hey! I actually managed to fix this by creating a new user in my MacBook.

To clarify, you have the game installed on an external hard drive? Does the drive and Origin have full permissions in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy?

Have you reset Origin? You will need to change the games library installation folder again after resetting https://help.ea.com/in/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

The Electronic Arts folder will not recreate until you successfully launch the game.
