Is there a config.log file in your Sims 4 folder? If so can you please upload it or copy/paste it in spoiler tags here?

Thanks! Your Intel HD 6000 chip is in the GraphicsCards.sgr file that the game looks in for a match. Could you also post the specs. of your Mac so we can double check it's picking it up correctly. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162

Thanks 🙂 It all looks good. You don't need the Legacy Edition, it is not a fix for anything but a way for people on older machines to be able to play. I think you should uninstall the game again, run the Origin reset tool - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/ turn off automatic updates in Origin, then re-download the game again. That will at least get rid of the Legacy Edition you downloaded that you don' need and may fix the issue 🙂
