Sims 4 won't download

Have been attempting to download Sims 4 off of Origin since 11pm last night (over 12 hours ago), and let my mac on overnight to download the game (I've never had issues downloading games before). 

It was stuck on 13% for 12 hours, I have cancelled the download numerous times, paused the download, closed the origin app, restarted my macbook, uninstalled and re-instlled origin and nothing. 

I 'cancelled' the download about half an hour ago and it won't even do that at the moment. 

I'm having to force turn off my mac and restart it, and still nothing. 

Please help!
