Sims freezing in-game

I have a save file where my Sims freeze after being given more than two commands. I took out all of my mods, I repaired the game, I even uninstalled the game, and nothing works so far. This issue happens even when the mods folder is empty. My Sims act regularly and carry out their actions normally in other save files, though. Please help T-T
