Sims stuck in T-pose since character creation

I play the Sims 4 on mac, my brother and I use the same account to play. He downloaded the game started a new save on the vanilla game. Lo and behold, the first thing he was greeted by was this. ...

    Thanks for confirming. Could you test a clean game without any of your current saves by recreating a new folder on launch.

    The save files were moved into the new folder.

    • Operating System: macOS Mojave v.10.12.6
    • Mac model: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
    • Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
    • Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
    • Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 550 1536 MB
