It really would help if you enabled the path bar at the bottom of the Finder window and showed it in the screenshot but I'll take your word that the screenshots are the location you say they are.
The game will not load saves from a folder on your desktop, it only loads user data located in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. Move the saves into that saves folder and they should load.

@Bluebellflora How do i enable the path bar?

Open a Finder window then click on View > Show Path Bar. The bottom of all Finder windows will now show the location of the file/folder you select.

@Bluebellfloraso when i go into the documents > electronic arts > saves via the finder nothing is in there its only in the one on my desktop, should i move them over?

Yes! See my previous comment about where the game loads user data from.
