@Bluebellflora when i move them over they just disappear, they dont pop up in the finder electronic arts folder, it also says when i try to move over the whole folder it says "An older item named “saves” already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the newer one you’re moving?"

- neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora When i do that i cant view them like i can in the one on the desk top, should i still move them?
- neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora do i move the scratch folder too?
- Bluebellflora2 years agoHero+@neffi06
The scratch folder is created when you launch the game and automatically deletes when you quit the game. If you have a scratch folder it means your game has crashed/frozen at some point and the game hasn’t deleted it.
You should delete the scratch folder. - neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora okay so do i now move them into the save folder, because right now theyre under all the folders

See my explanation here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/sims-wasn-t-loading-and-tried-fixing-it-now-everything-is-gone/m-p/13420325#M59738
If you’re finding it difficult to navigate your Mac do you have someone who can help you in person? I think it would be very helpful. - neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora no sadly no one else in my family uses apple, ive either way moved them into the save folder in the finder, all of them are now in the save folder in the Documents > Electronic arts > the sims 4 > saves. Is it now fine to open since theyre all in there

- neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora okay so most of it is back but it is still missing my most recent content and builds ive done
- Bluebellflora2 years agoHero+@neffi06
Maybe you’ve lost your most recent saves. You could always check your iCloud https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Saves-CC-Mods-or-Library-items-disappeared/td-p/10242133 - neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora yeah i dont have icloud, the only apple item i have is this computer and it is my school computer so i dont have any personal things on it, and also when i go into the save folder the one from jan 18th is there which is my most recent save

If you’re playing the Sims on your Mac isn’t that personal? Unless it’s part of a school project.
iCloud is part of macOS.
I can’t help you further but I think you would benefit from doing some research on using a Mac and how the operating system works. I feel that is your biggest hurdle at the moment. Also read the stickied Mac FAQ thread in this forum to understand how the game works and is installed. - neffi062 years agoNot applicable@Bluebellflora okay, thank you so much
