sims wasn't loading and tried fixing it now everything is gone

Hi so i play sims 4 on my Macbook air. Had a problem yesterday where i saved my game and tried starting it (closed it to update it). After i opened it when i chose load game, the household that i last played on, it would just load for a second and then crash. I tried in the origin app to repair the game and start it again but it didn't work. I tried starting the game from my desk and that didnt work so what i ended up doing was following the sims 4 EA help on how to restore a previous saved game. After i did that and loaded the household save everything was gone, all my custom houses and buildings in the worlds i have. I panicked and put the chosen save file back into the electronic arts saves file and loaded it again and now its back to default. Im legit panicking that everything's gone and i don't know what to do to fix and get back everything. By the way i have no mods or CC installed.

@Bluebellflora no sadly no one else in my family uses apple, ive either way moved them into the save folder in the finder, all of them are now in the save folder in the Documents > Electronic arts > the sims 4 > saves. Is it now fine to open since theyre all in there

I can’t see the file path in your screenshot so can’t tell but why not load the game and find out? 🙂

If you’re playing the Sims on your Mac isn’t that personal? Unless it’s part of a school project.

    iCloud is part of macOS.

I can’t help you further but I think you would benefit from doing some research on using a Mac and how the operating system works. I feel that is your biggest hurdle at the moment. Also read the stickied Mac FAQ thread in this forum to understand how the game works and is installed.
