Sims4 not working Macbook - already running

I can't open the SIMS4 game through my origin on my MacBook Pro, when I try to open it, it says that it is unable to start because it is already running and gives me this code

I have tried resetting Origin twice, i have deleted and redownloaded the Sims4 and nothing works. I have a lot of expansion packages and a lot of money spent on this game
