stuck on loading screen after creating a sim
After making a sim I pressed 'play' for my lot and its been stuck on the loading screen for nearly a day and because im on mac i cant restart my laptop until sims 4 is closed but it refused to

You should be able to Force Quit the app in Finder. If playing in windowed mode click anywhere on the desktop to get to Finder then click on the Apple > Force Quit. If playing in fullscreen do a 3 finger swipe to the right to switch from the game desktop to the normal desktop.
You should also be able to CMD + Tab to switch apps and choose Finder Or hold down CMD, Alt/Option and Esc to bring up the Force Quit option although sometimes this isn't always possible when the game has frozen.
If you can't Force Quit hold down the power button on your Mac until it runs off.If you need help have a look at Apple's support page https://support.apple.com/en-gb/102586
