The current user is not entitled to run The Sims 4 in the installed language

Hey, can someone please help me?
My Origin was set to rusian and after using the Origin reset tool it was set to English.
I then downloaded the For Rent expansion pack.

After running the game in English, I got this problem:
The current user does not have permission to run The Sims 4 in the installed language.

I have tried log in and log out in Origin, the Origin reset tool, and even deleted almost everything with Sims, but I still have a language problem🥲.
And I haven't edited any Origin .plist files manually.

    @puzzlezaddict Thanks for your message😊
    I solved this in Origin by clicking on the 'Settings' tab under 'play' tab --> Game Properties-->ADVANCED LAUNCH OPTIONS--> and finally I changed language to rus and it started working✨

  • @4jj20  Does it help to repair the game again?

    And if you try to change the language of Sims 4, what options do you see?

  • @4jj20 Hi! Could you please tell me how you changed the language game from russian to english (if you downloaded the russian version)? I'm trying to do the same right now, but I can only choose between Russian, Czech and Polish. Origin reset tool didn't help...

    @1AlessandraEA  If you have a language-locked version of Sims 4, which it sounds like you do, then the other languages won't be available.  There's no way around this in macOS; in Windows, you could install the game through Steam, but that doesn't work on a Mac.

    @puzzlezaddict Ah, that’s really frustrating. I’ve seen people showing tips to change it, but like you said it these only apply to Windows. Really unfortunate. Thanks for your help regardless!
