Thanks. Memory looks fine.
- What other demanding apps are you referring to?
- What surface do you have your Mac on when you play?
- Which dedicated GPU does your Mac have? Apple > About This Mac > More Info... > System Report > Graphics/Displays
- Is EA App slow right from launch? Or if you try and do something in it when the game is running?
- Does your game lag in certain situations or all the time?
- What is the size of your save files?

- I have Adobe Photoshop 2024 installed, Mac heats up when I run it
- It stands on a ventilation stand that I turn on every time I play The Sims or use Adobe
- Built-in Retina Display. 15,4 inch (2880x1800)
- Slow from launch
- Lags more when I speed up the game (when sims sleep, for example). But even if I don't it still gets slow
- I have one save, it has 4 versions, each 4.2 Mb

Thanks but need the GPU info, not the display info:
Apple > About This Mac > More Info... > System Report > Graphics/Displays:
This is really important info because Photoshop and the game use the dedicated GPU.
Have you ever blown compressed air through the vents in the Mac? After 6 years there's bound to be loads of dust and fluff in the fans. What repair work did you have done to the Mac? It maybe that the OS is throttling power to the game to stop your Mac from overheating to the point where it could cause hardware damage although this doesn't explain why EA App is laggy. Before you next open EA App have Activity Monitor open set to have the list in order by CPU usage, see what is using so much processing power.
