there is no mods file in my sims 4 mac download, what can I do

I made a mods file myself, and downloaded the Resource.cfg, but it still does not work.but the mod still not working.

    @oriharaI,

    Please check that mods and custom content are enabled in game settings. You can find this in Settings > Other

Where did yo download the Resource.cfg file? Did you put it on the Mods folder?

I downloaded online, and there are tutorials to tell people how to setup the folder. I put the resource.cfg under my mods folder.

      So I can just paste my mods into the same file as the resource.cfg is in??? basically the *res* folder is where my resource.cfg file is, i can just put the mods into the *res* file then? I have tried everything and for the life of me cant get electronic arts so i wonder if this works??

        No. Your CC/Mods go in ⁨Documents⁩ > ⁨Electronic Arts⁩ > ⁨The Sims 4⁩ > Mods. Your resource.cfg file should also be in there, ignore the res folder.
