unable to play - Continuous redownloading, reinstalling and verifying games

I have a Mac and am trying to play the sim 4 that I have purchased. Played on a variety of occasions but since December have had issues. It keeps uninstalling, and needing updates that won't work and...

It’s not working. I managed to get on some chat with them but it wasn’t working. Everything suggested just didn’t work. Unsure what to do 😭

    Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:

    find / -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

    After a little while it will return the results of the search. This will search your whole Mac as well as any plugged in drives. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
