Updated sims4 on mac and all sims are invisible even in CAS

Im not sure what’s going on, i have a lot of cc so i thought maybe some of it was outdated. but i tooth the whole sims 4 folder out of electronic arts and opened the game and even still when i go to CAS i can’t see the new sim at all or click on it
