Weird basement+platform lighting glitches

In my build i have a basement with medium walls and platforms 3 ticks high. However no matter how high or low, the floor above the largest basement room has a lighting glitch matching the perimeter of the walls. 

I suppose the weird glitches add to my haunted movie theater but its not my ideal choice.
