The 2.4 GHz requirement is for a Core 2 Duo CPU which are years old and outdated now. You should be fine although if you provide your full specs. we can give you a more accurate answer as to how the game may run. Instructions on how to do so here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162

MacBook Pro 13-inch, Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core 15, Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 655 1536 MB. Does that help?

That's great, thanks 🙂
It should run yes. You may have to lower your in-game graphics settings depending on how many packs you have installed.- 7 years ago
So if I just install the regular game, it should be fine? And thanks so much for your help!

You should be fine with more than just the base game. Just bear in mind that the more you add to the game, the more work you’re giving your Mac to do 🙂
