Will the sims 4 be available on Macs?

I realize that EA is being very vague with the discussion of other platforms for The Sims 4. I am not expecting a solid answer to my question but I am hoping for one. I do not own a PC but I am looking forward to The Sims 4. The whole overall game, from what I've seen, looks spectacularly brilliant. I would really like a confirmation on if TS4 will be available on Macs, and if so, I would be interested in knowing if it will come out on September 2 with the PC version. Thankyou for your time.

    At this point, there is no info on what hardware requirement Sims 4 has.

    Sims 4 is availble as Origin Digital Version and a disc version. There's no info on a Steam Version

    PC

    Sims 4 will be avaible for PC Windows. The game is availble for Pre-Order in different Versions. 

    I assume it will be for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. It's unclear at this if XP will still be supporterted or not.

    Mac

    There is no info on a mac Version. The availbe Version is for PC only. DO NOT PREORDER

    Console

    There's no info if there will be a console version or not.

    Linux

    There's no info on that but I seriously doubt it.

    Hello everybody,

    I have a PC and a Mac, with Sims 3 installed on both.

    I would like to know, if I buy Sims 4 precommand for PC now. When Mac version will be available, should I rebuy Sims 4 for Mac with a specific version? Or PC version will be updated to add Mac compatibility?

    There's no info on that. EA might not even make a mac version.

    If I purchase the Sims 4 pre order for PC, will I still be able to play it through origin on a mac?

    There hasn't been a release date for sims 4 on the mac, I was wondering if I bought the sims 4 pc edition and uploaded it to my mac would it work??

    The PC version of the game will not work unless you have Windows installed on your Mac. Bootcamping *may* work, but since the game isn't out yet, there's no way to know for certain.

    Hello,

    At the moment only a PC version of The Sims 4, via Origin, has been announced. This will not be compatible with Mac. The only way to possibly play The Sims 4 on a Mac was to setup Bootcamp or a Parallels desktop with a full license of Windows 7 or 8 (however this is yet to be confirmed).
