[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

I play on a Mac - My game did today’s update to fix the crashing and now it won’t load at all! Was waiting up to 10 mins and it was just stuck on the loading screen. I took off all my mods and still ...

In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

Same for me. I never had any mods so that definitely wasn't it.

Same here - updated and bought snowy escape. Tried to create a new family and couldn’t select a world to move into. Now I can’t even load my previous saves.

I updated the game and i think i canceled the update & when i try to open Sims 4 i get a message telling me that i a file can't be found(Which doesn't exist on my computer)& that i should reinstall the game.Doing so i'll lose everything i've done in the game before,right?
