[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

I play on a Mac - My game did today’s update to fix the crashing and now it won’t load at all! Was waiting up to 10 mins and it was just stuck on the loading screen. I took off all my mods and still ...

In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

I wasn't having any problem with the November 2020 update, when the patch was released today (Nov 17) however, my game doesn't leave the loading screen. It will load and open the main menu but when I click on a saved game the loading screen comes on and then that's it. It just loads. I sat here for 10+ minutes multiple times waiting for it to load and it never does.

@KRamz24 Do a "Repair" on the game. That should fix it.

  @KoolAidBitcj ahh so for mac: got to origin, right-click on the sims game and hit repair.

@ZapGun4Hire So I’ve repaired it like you’ve said to do and now it’s stuck on finalising with 100%. I’ve been stuffing here for 10+ mins and nothings changed I can’t close this app now along with my sims4 application. What do I do? Please help me
