In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".
After the update where the Sims4 kept crashing, now it doesn’t go past the loading screen of saved games. The loading screen just keeps going.
Merged a bunch of threads together for the infinite loading screen. The solution on page one explains how to fix this - repair your game in Origin. You may need to repair a couple of times. I've uninstalled and installed Origina twice now, and have restarted the Sims (even lost my saved games etc). I recently purchased a bunch of expansion packs and tried to download them all at once. Some still say finalizing in Origin (greyed out) but I can see I have them now. I even tried to disable them in Origin just to see if that helped and still my system isn't loading all the packs.
Here is my MAC info. At this point I'm less concerned about my saved game, I now know how I need to save weekly or monthly to avoid this issue happening again when I do updates on my computer. LESSON LEARNED FOR REAL! I also am not sure if I use CC/Mods (I'm new to the lingo year although I've been playing Sims for years). I usually just download stuff from the gallery and plug it in the game so if those are CC then yes I use them usually. Attaching screenshots of my Sims 4 folder and Mac specifications. At this stage I'm just trying to get the game loading and working properly and start fresh but with all my expansion packs.
Issues I'm seeing:
after I downloaded the expansion packs my load screen was stuck for over 10min I had to force shut down the game.

Hi there. What happens if you try to repair the game, but the option is grayed out and it won't let you select that? I've tried moving the options.ini file to my desktop and I've installed the origin repair and tried that as well with no luck. Not sure what to do fro here. Any help would be great!
