[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

I play on a Mac - My game did today’s update to fix the crashing and now it won’t load at all! Was waiting up to 10 mins and it was just stuck on the loading screen. I took off all my mods and still ...

In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

Recent update on Origin and The Sims 4 - Nov. 18, 2020

I recently updated Origin and The Sims 4 on my MacBook and now The Sims does not load

Origin seems to work OK

The Sims 4 loads but does not let me load my saved game

@domingoplata same issue. I've tried everything from repairs to reinstall, removing mods, etc. I'm waiting for someone to tell me to do something other than 'right click repair the game'.

@yaykebab Im letting mine run but I think it won't work
Its been at the same screen for over 1 hour

  @domingoplata yeah, sounds like it's not responding. it's been the same thing since that patch to help pc users last night. since then, haven't been able to login.

    I have the same issue, it wont let me load into my game and its so frustrating!
