I had the game freeze when I was trying to travel to an invite, I had to get task manager and then had trouble ending the task. Afterwards I was able to play but it was glitchy so I closed the game and then checked for updates. It is the latest update, and then I tried repairing the game. When I tried to load the next time it was stuck on loading the first plumbob and I had to again force it to quit. I was then able to get on and play but it is so glitchy and resetting objects are not working. I finally just gave up because I can't play the game except for my kid to go to school and my sim to go to work and that's it. I was hoping that the new patch would have stopped the glitches and random crashes. I have been saving every two minutes just because I'm afraid it will either close on it's own or I get stuck on loading screens.
It won’t let me play with my main household. Every time I try to select my household it just stays on the loading screen for like 15 minutes. 😐

@laurenelli146 Does your computer run Windows or macOS? Have you tried repairing? Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

omg Thank you so much 🥺 my sims won’t load since the last update and I was about to cry, I have a Mac and I use origin and don’t have any mods or anything and recently bought a few packs 🙃
I updated my computer the iOS, force close the sims like 5 times, low the quality and nothing but I don’t know much about Macs and games so I was freaking out lol Cause I thought I needed to erase origin and instal it again and don’t know how 😆 ok I wrote to much But yeah 😅 thank you very much for helping others 😁✨

@alexa-ch0897 Glad to hear it helped.
@laurenelli146 I've moved your thread to the Mac section, so you can get Mac-specific help. For now, please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can load a new save and play in live mode for a bit. Let us know either way.
If you can't play even in the clean folder, please post the full specs of your Mac, including operating system, as described here:
