In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".
I've been trying to play Sims for the past 3 days. I can open origin, the game, but when I select which game I want to load and play, it will begin to load the game but then will be stuck on the plumbob loading screen. The messages on the bottom of the plumbob will change but the game will never load. I've had to force quit the game every single time I've tried. I've even restarted my Mac and Origin to see if that would help and it didn't. I updated the game maybe 3-4 days ago and it let me play for a good 45 minutes to and 1 hour until I decided to stop playing. Ever since I saved and quit my game a couple of days ago, I haven't been able to play.
